The WHPAs are classified based on the following factors:<\/SPAN><\/P> \u2022 WHPA A: the area within a 100 metre radius from a wellhead that is considered the most vulnerable area for ground water intakes.<\/SPAN><\/P> \u2022 WHPA B: the area in which a pollutant released in this area could reach the well within two years (excluding WHPA-A)<\/SPAN><\/P> \u2022 WHPA C: the area in which a pollutant released in this area could reach the well within five years (excluding WHPA-A and WHPA-B)<\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P> The implementing Zoning By-law of this Plan will prohibit land uses in the Intake Protection Zones and Wellhead Protection Areas that may present a risk of<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>contaminating this drinking water intake source.<\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P> In the event of a conflict between this Plan and the significant threat policies of the approved Quinte Region Source Protection Plan, the Source Protection Plan prevails in accordance with the Clean Water Act (2006).<\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P> Note that there are areas of overlap within the areas designated as IPZs and WHPAs in Point Anne.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
